The fascination of computers

I have been passionate about computers and computer science since a young age. With my hobbies of video editing, building computers and programming, I taught myself a lot of things early on. When I was nine, I was allowed to build my first computer. It was clear to me that I wanted to do an apprenticeship as a computer scientist after compulsory school. Thus, Since 2020, I have been apprenticing as an computer scientist in systems engineering at a cyber security company and have turned my hobby into my profession. My enthusiasm and commitment for computer science are unbroken and I am always happy to learn and apply new things.

Thus, since 2020, I have been practicing as a computer scientist in systems engineering at a cybersecurity company and have turned my hobby into my profession. My enthusiasm and commitment for computer science are unbroken, and I am always happy to learn and apply new things.

Skills and interests

Programming languages

Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell are programming languages I've worked with during my career in computer science.

DevOps

Ansible, Tanzu, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code are tools which I've been using more and more lately because my interest and work regarding DevOps is rising constantely.

Project methods and management

IPERKA, Hermes, ITIL are methods which I've learned and used during my apprenticeship.

Infrastructure, System administration

VMware vSphere, Linux Server Management, Windows Server Management are skills and products I've learned to use and work with regularly during my apprenticeship.

Tools and miscellaneous skills

Git, TCP-IP, IT Support are categories Im dealing with on a daily basis.

Projects

Heycloud

For improving my coding skills, I've started a project named heycloud in 2020. Heycloud should become a public cloud using proxmox as a virtualization backend. The frontend is written in react.js while the backend is written in go.
I've come as far as implementing features such as
- VPS creation
- User login and registering
- Billing
- Dashboard
- Remote console access to VPS servers

The project is unfinished but still worth the experience I've gathered while doing it.
